Arts 53B Syllabus: Spring '10

Course Overview:
This ONline (hybrid) course will further develop an awareness to the computer as an effective and important mode of communication used by artists and designers today. Students must have completed Arts 53A or the equivalent to take this course.
Please see me if you have concerns.

The computer should be viewed as an adjunct to basic hand skills in the creation of fine art and graphic design projects and not an end in itself. It can help you preview your ideas, and in many ways help you realize your projects more efficiently. We will be using Adobe Photoshop exclusively in this course. The primary emphasis of this course will be exploring the creative potential of Adobe Photoshop.
