SOME BASIC INSTRUCTIONS:
On this project, it is assumed that you now have sufficient software skills to complete this Poster Tutorial. So there will not be a detailed set of instructions. However, below is a brief outline of the steps and Tips to follow to complete the project.
Use the Poster Tutorial example file provided above as a visual example. Also use the video tutorial link above as a guide.

1) Combine the two files sky.psd and road.psd onto one file.
Note: you will need to eliminate some of the trees in the background. See the example file.

2) Open the water.psd and select a portion to place in the background of the poster. Use various selection techniques to achieve the blended edge of the water onto the road.
Tip: You will need to convert the water.psd to RGB before you can colorize it.

3) Open the head.psd. This will require some thought as far as getting rid of the hair, graduating the face color and placing the new eye.
Tip: I would get rid of the hair first.
Hint: use a combination of the Healing Brush and the Clone Stamp Tools. Then work on the face color. Notice the blending of color on the face. This was done using the Quick Mask tool.

4) Place the head image on the new file.
Note: You will need to blend the bottom part of the head into the road and create a drop shadow to the right. I would just select the bottom half of the face with a large feather radius and then delete. Then import the eye image and blend in using a similar technique.

5) Open the red sky.psd. Select and place onto the new file as shown in the example.

6) Open, select and place the moon.psd. Create the blue halo effect.

7) Bring in the fire.psd and blend the edges. Notice on the example file, that there is a cast shadow on the top of the head that you will need to create.

8) Bring in the frog.psd and create the cast shadow on the road.

9) Finally, ad the top and bottom copy. Use a sans serif typeface.
